The Rollski WEASEL Marathon offers cross-country athletes ski-like characteristics on two wheels thanks to optimized frame geometry, construction and material selection. With its long axis distance and lowered center of gravity, this roller skate stands out for its excellent stability and stability during the gliding phase. In the construction, nature served as a model, a procedure called bionics. Completely free of sharp edges and refined iteratively in the computer model, the frame optimally absorbs the power flow and avoids voltage spikes. The extrusion of a profile with CNC processing of the external shape makes it possible to dispense with component connections. Thus, lightness is combined at the same time with longevity under high alternating loads. The WEASEL marathon frame is peripherally stiff and centrally flexible, which allows a perfect ski similarity with the best guidance without twisting. The rubber rollers, which are dimensioned for high loads, make the ride with the WEASEL Marathon equal to gliding on snow. Last but not least, the visual design of the WEASEL Marathon embodies the agility and speed of the weasel in an elegant white color.

The WEASEL convinced the 40-member panel of experts of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014 with the high design quality of its Rollski model WEASEL Marathon. International experts discussed and evaluated 4,815 submissions from 53 nations. But only designs that inspire with quality and innovation are awarded by the jury. The WEASEL marathon by skiroll GmbH was victorious and received the coveted Red Dot quality seal as a deserved reward.
