Fotokite Sigma

Fotokite Sigma offers a view from above when the fire brigade or rescue workers are deployed. The flight system is started with just one push of a button and provides an overview within seconds. With the integrated thermal imaging camera, sources of fire or people can also be detected in thick smoke or at night. The connection of the flight system via a cable allows unlimited flight times and fast and secure image transmission. For Fotokite Sigma we developed the design as a continuation of Fotokite Phi. The focus was in particular on the roof box for transport on vehicles. The challenge was to transport the system safely while driving, in the smallest possible packing size, and to allow an automatic start without manual intervention.
